Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar has been doing his bit helping people in need through the coronavirus lockdown.
Recently, the actor has once again set an example by helping daily wage workers in times of distress amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to latest reports, the actor has donated Rs 45 lakh to Cine & TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA).
Akshay Kumar donates Rs 45 Lakhs to CINTAA
Confirming the news, CINTAA’s Joint Secretary Amit Behl told a media portal, “Akshay Kumar extended financial help of Rs 45 lakhs to CINTAA. We have deposited Rs 3000 each in the account of 1500 artists and workers associated with CINTAA yesterday. CINTAA had communicated about the financial crisis of the artist and workers amid the lockdown to Sajid Nadiadwala, who informed Akshay about the same.”
Akshay Kumar was the first Bollywood actor who donated Rs. 25 crore to PM Cares Fund in fight against COVID-19.
Apart from this, the actor also extended financial aid of Rs. 3 crore to BMC to assist the making of personal protection equipment, masks, and rapid testing kits.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar was busy shooting for his next film Bachchan Pandey before the outbreak of coronavirus forced the industry to stop work. Apart from this, the actor also has Rohit Shetty’s Sooryavanshi, Bachchan Pandey, Laxmmi Bomb and Bell Bottom in his kitty.
