Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar is currently busy in his upcoming film ‘Kesari’. The film will be a period drama which will see him essay the role of Havaldar Ishwar Singh.
But, the actor has injured himself while shooting for a film. According to reports, the 50-year-old actor suffered an injury in his ribs during the shooting off the climax and had to take a break from the shooting on Wednesday.
Despite being advised bed rest, Akshay has continued to stay at the location in Wai, and refused to return to Mumbai.

Kesari is a joint venture of Karan Johar and Akshay together, the movie speaks about the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi fought between the Sikh soldiers and Pashtun Orakzai.
The film will star Parineeti Chopra as the female lead, playing Akshay’s wife.
Directed by Anurag Singh, the film will release in 2019.
