This is quite a cool initiative from Akshay Kumar, who has been quite socially conscious in recent times. While building a toilet in the village also helps the social cause of ‘jahaan soch, vahaan souchalay’, the move also promotes his upcoming movie in the right way.
Akshay’s “Toilet: Ek Prem Katha” is reportedly inspired by the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The film’s poster was launched on social media on Thursday.
Directed by Shree Narayan Singh, the film has Bhumi Pednekar paired opposite Akshay. The film releases worldwide on August 11. It will clash with Imtiaz Ali’s next starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma.
