Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar turns 50 today. In a career spanning more than 25 years, Kumar has appeared in over a 100 Hindi films and has won several awards including the National Film Award for Best Actor for his performance in Rustom and two Filmfare Awards.
Akshay Kumar is one of the Bollywood actors who has always been in the news for his love life. While Akshay had dated several actresses before marrying Twinkle Khanna. His alleged affair with Raveena Tandon raised many eyebrows.
Their love bloomed with the release of their film Mohra in 1994. Their chemistry sizzled on-screen and with that the reports of them being close off-screen speculated in the media.
Raveena in an interview to Stardust in 1999 revealed that Akshay said he will marry her the day she will finish her last shoot. Raveena admitted that Akshay and she had got engaged secretly in a mandir.
During their courtship phase, in 1996 Akshay-Raveena–Rekha starrer Khiladiyon ka Khiladi released and with that the link-up stories of Akshay and Rekha became the sensational news in the media. However, their affair was short-lived.

Well, that was indeed an unexpected revelation made by the diva then. Raveena dated Akshay for good three years, before calling it quits. After break up, she married film distributor Anil Thadani in 2004.
