Akshay Kumar”s courtroom drama ‘Jolly LLB 2’ seems to have landed in trouble. According to reports, advocate Ajaykumar S Waghmare has filed a petition at Bombay High Court, asking that the term ‘LLB’ should be dropped from the film’s title.
Advocate Waghmare has stated in his petition that using the word LLB is a “deliberate attempt to malign the reputation of the Indian legal profession.”

Waghmare’s petition says that the characters in the film’s trailer are shown to be playing cards and dancing in court premises which suggests that Akshay’s film has no respect for the judicial profession, discipline and ethics. Waghmare has also asked the court to stop Jolly LLB 2’s trailer from being played on social media and TV channels.
Directed by Subhash Kapoor, ‘Jolly LLB 2’ has Akshay Kumar playing the character of Jagdish Mishra, an unscrupulous lawyer who turns over a new leaf when he battles an all-important case.
