Famous actress of the 90s, Ayesha Zulka is preparing for her small screen debut.
The actress who was seen in hit movie like “Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikander” and “Khiladi” to name a few, will make her debut on TV with new show ‘Rishton Ka Chakravyuvh’.
The show, which has Narayani Shastri, Sangita Ghosh and Mahima Makwana in the lead roles, is about the bitter side of mother-daughter relationship.
Ayesha took an early retirement from Bollywood when she was at the peak of her career and has been doing guest appearances in films for friends since then.
While she is away from the limelight, the actress keeps busy with her business.
According to sources, “Actress will be seen playing a very crucial role in the show. The makers wanted someone snobbish yet innocent looking lady to portray this character of Maharani in the family and they couldn’t think of anyone else other than Ayesha. It took a while for them to convince her, after a lot of back and forth they managed to take her on board.”
Sources say that Ayesha will play the role of Badi Maa who controls everyone and everything in the house. “Initially, her role will be positive, but later, there will be grey shades to her character and eventually she will turn out be one of the villains in the house.”

Ayesha’s memorable films include“Khiladi” in which she appeared with Akshay Kumar. This successful film also gave birth to an alleged new relationship and that was of Ayesha and Akshay. Their sizzling chemistry soon became the talk-of- the-town and gossip mongers started discussing about Akshay’s new found love. Ayesha really weants to marry Akshay but he was not ready for serious relationship, the two became separated after the rift.
Ayesha, who started her career at the age of 11, has worked with many stars like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Kamal Haasan. Her successful films includes Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar, Balmaa, Sangram, Hote Hote Pyar Ho Gaya etc.
Ayesha was always in news for her link up with various actors. It is said that the actress was in a live-in relation with Nana Patekar. They broke up when Nana became aggressive and humiliated her in front of the public while shooting for play Purush. She has also been in a live-in relation with Mithun Chakraborty.
