Alia Bhatt seen as a dutiful daughter and wife in the new posters of ‘Raazi’

After treating us with an impressive teaser, the makers of Alia Bhatt starrer ‘Raazi’ has shared the new poster of the film.

The poster features Alia Bhatt as a daughter, alongside her screen father, Rajit Kapoor, who is kissing her forehead. While, the lower half of the poster shows two people embracing each other in front of a bus stand.

The poster tagline reads, “A wife”. The film is based on Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat.

‘Raazi’ is a real life adaptation of a Kashmiri girl who marries an army officer and is set during the 1971 Indo- Pak War. Alia plays the role of a spy in the film who is sent to Pakistan to garner cross-border information.

The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and produced by Dharma Productions and Junglee Pictures.

Raazi is scheduled to hit the theatres on May 11.
