Amavas movie review
Story of the movie:
Set in the UK, the film begins with an expressionless Karan Ajmera (Sachiin Joshi) wanting to surprise his girlfriend Aahana (Nargis Fakhri) by taking her to an exotic location for a romantic holiday with the intention of proposing marriage. But Aahana, after stumbling upon pictures of an abandoned castle in one of Karan’s old album, insists on visiting it. Karan is reluctant but agrees to take her there. But there’s also an other-worldly presence awaiting them. They both reach there and as you expect Ahana starts unravelling some mysterious secrets about the house. What happens next, for this, you have to watch the film.
Star Performance:
Nargis Fakhri has delivered a brilliant performance in the film. Sachiin Joshi has also done his role perfectly. Ali Asgar looks interesting in his role. Mona Singh also performs good. While, others like Navneet Kaur Dhillon and Vivan Bhatena have done justice to their roles.
Music Direction:
The songs of Amavas are the only sunshine.
Direction:
The film’s direction is good. Dialogues are impressive. As far as the horror is concerned, there is nothing to worry about because the ghost is extremely predictable even when it tries to surprise you. The screenplay of the film could be even better.
Watch Or Not:
You can watch it once.
