The Kathua rape and murder case has left the world in a state of shock, grief, disappointment and anger. The case of an 8-year-old minor being kidnapped, sedated and brutally gang raped over days and then eventually murdered has left us seething with anger.
Many celebrities have reacted to it and sharing their displeasure over the same, many shared a photo holding a placard which asked justice for the eight-year-old-girl who was raped in a temple earlier this year.
Now, Amitabh Bachchan who has been the face of the Modi government’s Beti Bachao Beti Padhao initiative, said the Unnao and Kathua rapes were “disgusting” and that it was terrible to even talk about it.

When the actor was asked about this, he requested that the issue not be brought up. “Mujhe uss vishay par charcha karne mein ghinn aati hai. So uss vishay ko uchhalo mat (I feel disgusted even talking about it. So, don’t rake up this issue). It’s terrible to even talk about it,” he told reporters.
The actor was speaking at the song launch of his upcoming film ‘102 Not Out’ co-starring Rishi Kapoor.
Big B was present at the event along with his co-star Rishi Kapoor, Jimit Tridevi and the crew of the Umesh Shukla directorial, which is releasing on May 4.
