BJP wants film shooting to continue as there is a splinter group in the union headed by a BJP MLA.” He said, “I was told that Amitabh Bachchan was shooting despite the strike and the workers wanted him to support the strike by stopping the shoot. I said that they must give him a representation. I was prohibited from going to Bachchan’s house. Finally, I and my workers were taken to the Versova police station where our representation was taken by the police. There were nearly 100 policemen at my house to prevent me from going and nearly 500 men at Amitabh’s house,” said Nirupam.
