Anil Kapoor recreates Shammi Kapoor’s Badan Pe Sitare song for Fanney Khan, watch

After song Mohabbat, Halka-Halka, Acche Din and Tere Jaisa Tu Hai, now the makers has released another song ‘Badan Pe Sitare’ from the film.

The song is a recreated version of Shammi Kapoor’s hit track Badan Pe Sitare featured in the 1969 film “Prince”. While the original song was sung by legendary playback singer of Hindi cinema, Mohammed Rafi, the remake version being used in Fanney Khan has been voiced by none other than singer Sonu Nigam.

In the song, Anil is seen showing off some of Shammi Kapoor’s iconic moves and it will definitely bring smile on your face.

Fanney Khan tells the story of a doting father and aspiring singer played by Anil Kapoor. It will see Aishwarya Rai in the role of a glamorous singing sensation.

The film will also star Rajkumar Rao as Aishwarya’s love interest. Fanney Khan also marks Aishwarya and Anil Kapoor’s collaboration after 17 years. The two last shared screen space in Hamara Dil Aapke Paas Hai.

The film is the Hindi adaptation of the 2000 Dutch release Everybody’s Famous directed by Dominique Deruddere, which was also nominated in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 73rd Academy Awards.

Directed by Atul Manjrekar and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, and nominees of ROMP, the film is slated to hit theatres on August 3.
