Ankit Tiwari comes out in support of his dad who accused for inappropriately touching Kambli’s wife!

Yesterday, we told you about Former India Cricketer Vinod Kambli’s wife Andrea Hewitt hits singer Ankit Tiwari’s father at the Inorbit Mall in Mumbai for inappropriately touching her.

According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, “Kambli and Andrea have alleged that Tiwari’s father RK Tiwari deliberately brushed his hand against Andrea, even as Ankur claimed the couple punched his 59-year-old father, and that Andrea took off her sandal to assault him.”

Well now, Ankit has comes out in support of his father and put out a statement from his social handle. He wrote, “Sad & Deeply hurt by unfortunate incident tht happd ystrday wid my father and bro @ankur_music Don’t want to Blame anyone. To prevent False Rumours from Spreading further. Sharing actual CCTV Footage asap & want the world to See it, Decide & Express watever they feel is Correct.”

While talking to leading tabloid, Kambli earlier said, “We were at the Game Zone in the mall around 3 pm when my wife caught hold of an old man’s hand. He had deliberately brushed his hand against her and when she caught him in the act, he pushed her away. Minutes later when we were at the food court, two men, who we assume were the man’s sons, tried to attack my wife. When I told them to back off, they told me, ‘You don’t know who we are’.”

When Ankur Tiwari was asked about the incident, he said, “My father, a retired bank employee, had accompanied my daughter to the Game Zone. My father told me he spotted Vinod Kambli there, and as he was walking past a woman, he blacked out. My father was disoriented after the attack. He couldn’t believe he had been punched, and that a woman was screaming, accusing him of brushing his hand against her. I asked my father to identify the woman, and we realised she was Kambli’s wife.”

It is learnt that Kambli and his wife filed an FIR. On the other hand, Tiwaris too filed police complaint against the former cricketer and his wife.

Meanwhile, the police are investigating the case.
