Anurag Kashyap has teamed up with Aanand L Rai for his upcoming film, “Mukkabaaz”, which is scheduled to release on November 10.
The 44-year-old helmer’s film will be co-produced by Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions.
Indian film critic Taran Adarsh confirmed the news through his Twitter handle.
Adarsh took to his Twitter handle and posted a 21-second-long teaser, showing that the movie will be co-produced by Aanand L. Rai and will be distributed by Eros Now.
The teaser was captioned as, “Aanand L. Rai and Anurag Kashyap officially announce #Mukkabaaz… 10 Nov 2017 release… #Eros… Here’s the teaser.”

By going through the teaser the film is based on a boxer who hails from Uttar Pradesh who before getting to boxing will fall for a Brahmin girl. In the background, you hear the phrase – ‘Zindagi Ka Paitra Khel Le’.
The exact plot of the film has not been revealed as yet, but in an interview to TOI, Jimmy Shergill, did drop hints. “This is for the first time that I am teaming with Anurag Kashyap. We wanted to work together for a long time and now eventually Mukkabaaz has happened. Based on the backdrop of boxing, it is a film about sports politics in which I have a very powerful role,” he said.
