The novel Coronavirus outbreak is wreaking havoc globally. While enough preventive health measures have been suggested by health experts, the people across the world are in state of panic.
Several bollywood celebrities have been doing their best in donating as much as possible in helping out the medical professionals.
Now, bollywood actress Ayesha Takia and her restauranteur husband Farhan Azmi offered their Gulf Hotel in South Mumbai as a quarantine facility for police personnel deployed in the area.

Farhan confirmed the news to Spotboye and told, ”Yes, we have given our Gulf Hotel for quarantine to the BMC. We are together during this time of crisis. We have handed over our hotel to BMC and the Mumbai Police as the quarantine centre. Ours is a small hotel. And we hope that in future, the Government should support small businesses too,” he shared.
Ayesha’s father-in-law Abu Asim Azmi took to Twitter to announce the news. He wrote, “Alhamdulillah, I am pleased to inform that on the request of Sr. PI – Colaba Police Station have handed over my Gulf Hotel in Colaba to @mybmc & @MumbaiPolice as a quarantine center for Police Personnels serving in South Mumbai. InShaAllah #CoronaWillEndSoon #Covid_19 (sic).”

Earlier, SRK, along with his wife Gari Khan had offered their four-storey personal office to help BMC in order to expand their quarantine capacity. Apart from them, actor Sonu Sood also offered his hotel as an accomodation for healthcare workers.

India is currently in lockdown mode till May 3 to battle the coronavirus pandemic. At least over 13,380 people have been infected with the highly infectious novel coronavirus in India.
