Ayushmann Khurrana and Sanya Malhotra starrer 'Badhaai Ho' movie review is here! 1

Badhaai Ho is a comedy drama which features Neena Gupta’s character (who plays Ayushmann’s mother in the film) gets pregnant at an older age and this surprises everyone within the family and the society.

Story of the movie: The film starts with Nakul (Ayushmann) and his simple middle class family including of his mother (Neena Gupta), father (Gajraj Rao), brother (Gullar) and dadi (Surekha Sikri) living in a small Delhi colony. Nakul is in love with his office colleague, Renee (Sanya Malhotra) and they plan to get married soon, after introducing each other to their respective families. Everything is going as per plan, until Nakul’s mother get unexpectedly pregnant. The couple from a middle-class family starts feeling conscious about the pregnancy, as they become a talking point in their social circles. How Ayushmann deal with social embarrassments to coming to terms with his parents’ active sex life to handling his own personal life, for this you have to watch the film.

Star Performance: Ayushmann Khurrana has delivered a brilliant performance in the film. While, Sanya looks beautiful, but has a very limited screen space. Veteran actors Neena Gupta and Gajraj Rao are fabulous in their roles. And, Surekha Sikri has completely done justice to her role.

Music Direction: The film’s music is good. Songs like Badhaaiyan Tenu, Morni Banke and Nain Na Jodeen are already hit among the audience.

Direction: The film’s direction is good. The first half of the film will make you laugh at every point. But, the second half is quite emotional. The climax of the film could be even better. But overall, the film is complete entertainer.

Watch Or Not: Don’t wait just go and watch!
