Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana is currently gearing up for his upcoming film Article 15 which is based on the social evil of caste-based discrimination.

The actor who plays a police officer in the film has recently shared a new video where he urges his fans to sign the petition of #Don’tSayBhangi.

Ayushmann took to his social media to share the video and wrote, “Hum sab ek saman hai, aur yeh jaante hue bhi hum bhedbhav karte hai. Humara samvidhan bhi humein isski ijaazat nahi deta. Aap bhi lijiye ek shapath. Sign the petition #DontSayBhangi, today. “

Article 15 is based on the infamous 2014 Badaun gang rape. The film revolves around Indian Constitution’s ‘Article 15’, which prohibits people from discriminating anyone on the basis of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth. It is inspired from real life events.

Directed by Anubhav of Mulk fame, the film is set to release on 28th June 2019.
