The prayer meet of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s father Krishnaraj Rai was held on Tuesday afternoon in Taj Lands Hotel. Krishnaraj Rai passed away on Saturday, after battling a prolonged illness. The final rights and cremation were performed later the same evening, with all the members of the Bachchan family, a number of Bollywood stars and family friends in attendance to pay their last respects.
On Tuesday, the chautha of Krishnaraj where the Bachchan family kept the prayer meet, was attended by the who’s who of the industry.
Aishwarya was seen arriving at the venue with her daughter Aaradhya and mother Vrinda. Abhishek , Amitabh along with Jaya and Shweta were all present at the prayer meet.
While the shutterbugs also captured Ash’s elder brother Aditya Rai who looked sadden by the loss and was clicked crying.

From last one month, Aishwarya Rai has been standing strong with her mother Vrinda Rai. The mother-daughter duo was spotted at the prayer meet with the little Aaradhya Bachchan
Their friends from the industry also came to condole the demise. Twinkle Khanna with mother Dimple Kapadia, Sridevi with husband Boney Kapoor, Vidya Balan with husband Siddharth Roy Kapur and brother-in-law Aditya Roy Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Kajol, Ramesh Sippy, Ashutosh Gowariker, Abbas Mastan were in attendance.
From Urmila Matondkar, Sonali Bendre, Tina Ambani, Sunil Shetty, Shakti Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Poonam Sinha, Prem Chopra, Simi Garewal, Mana Shetty to Rima Jain, Malaika Arora Khan, everyone paid their last respect to the deceased soul.
