The wait is finally over! Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are now the blessed parents of a baby boy and have named their son as Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi.
The happy couple released a statement saying, “We are very pleased to share with you all the wonderful news about the birth of our son : Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, on the 20th of December 2016″.
“We would like to thank the media for the understanding and support they have given us over the last 9 months, and of course especially our fans and well wishers for their continued affection. Merry Christmas and a happy new year to you all…With love, Saif and Kareena.”
Soon as the good news broke, wishes poured in for the newborn on social media and Kareena’s best friend and filmmaker Karan Johar was quick to reveal the name of her son.
Karan took to Twitter to wish the new mommy along with the tweet he also revealed the newborn’s name:
