SS Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’ or commonly known as ‘Baahubali 2’ continues to create a stir at the box office and has created yet another record. The movie, which was the much awaited sequel to 2015 release ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’, has now beaten superstar Aamir Khan at the box office as ‘Baahubali 2’ has surpassed the lifetime collections of Mr. Perfectionist’s last release ‘Dangal’.
‘Dangal’ was one of the blockbuster hits of 2016, featuring Aamir portraying the role renowned wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat. The movie had raked in a lifetime collection of Rs 387.38 cr. But Prabhas-starrer ‘Baahubali 2’ has not just surpassed the lifetime collection of ‘Dangal’, but it’s Hindi version has also become the first to touch the mark of Rs 400 crore.

Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the recent box-office collections of ‘Baahubali 2’. He wrote, “#Baahubali2 to surpass *lifetime biz* of #Dangal [₹ 387.38 cr]… Emerge HIGHEST GROSSER… First film to touch ₹ 400 cr… HINDI. Nett.”

The worldwide box office collection of “Baahubali 2: The Conclusion” has already surpassed the Rs 1000 crore mark. This is the first time that an Indian film has managed to rake in that much money.
