Just a day before we told you about “Bigg Boss” contestant Mandana Karimi, who got married in March, has now filed divorce petition. Well, now we have heard that another telly couple has called it quits.
TV actor Pankit Thakker who is known for his role of Dr. Atul in hit show ‘Dill Mill Gaye’ has ended his marriage with wife Praachi after 17 years of being together. The couple has a young son.
The actor recently announced his separation from his wife and we also learnt that the two have been living separately for the past two years now.
[ecp code=”4″]According to news in TOI, “Pankit and Praachi’s relationship hit a rough patch in 2015 and had then parted ways then, but the separation was mutual and the two are doing their best to secure their son’s future.”
Talking to leading daily, Pankit said, “”Yes, the news is true. We have been living separately since last 2 years. I don’t want to get into the details as to why we are not together, all I can say is that we have mutually separated. Right now our son is our priority and we don’t want to harm him in any way.”
Pankit was last seen on the show Bahu Hamari Rajni Kant started his career in small screen industry with the show “Kabhii Sautan Kabhii Sahelii” in 2001 and has been a part of several popular TV shows like “Kumkum”, “India Calling” , “Kagaz kii Kashti” etc.
While Prachi Thakker started her acting career with Balaji Telefilms serial “Kasautii Zindagii Kay”. Praachi is currently doing a show called “Sethji” on Zee TV, in which she is playing the main antagonist.
