Bhagyashree’s son Abhimanyu Dasani to make Bollywood debut with ‘Mard Ko Dard Nahin Hota’

There are some faces that we’ve only seen a couple of times on the big screen but are still etched in our minds. Remember Salman Khan’s leading lady Bhagyashree from ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’? Her charcter Suman and her innocence turned the flick into an evergreen one.

The actress is happily  married to businessman Himalaya Dasani, and, is doting mother of two children; Abhimanyu and Avantika.

Her son Abhimanyu Dasani is all set to make his Bollywood debut. Phantom Films will be launching Abhimanyu in their upcoming quirky action comedy, titled ‘Mard ko Dard Nahin Hota.’

The movie will be directed by Vasan Bala, the writer-director of 2012 crime-thriller ‘Peddlers,’ which was screened at Cannes as part of the 2012 International Critics’ Week.

The film will also launch TV actress Radhika Madan, who rose the fame with show ‘Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi’. It also stars Tamil actor Vijay Sethupati in a key role.

“Vasan (Bala) has written a superbly funny and kick ass martial arts film, the likes of which I have neither read nor seen. It’s so local and so new that you can’t help but marvel at it,” filmmaker Anurag Kashyap said in a statement. Kashyap says he is glad to produce the film.

“We at Phantom, hope it becomes a never before seen franchise with these maddeningly crazy characters,” he added. The film marks a synergy between Phantom film’s Anurag Kashyap and his long time assistant Vasan Bala, who has been working with the film maker since “Dev D”.
