The remake of ‘Pati Patni Aur Woh’ has been making headlines from the past few days. After the makers dropped Taapsee Pannu from the film without informing her.
After this, there were news doing the rounds that Bhumi Pednekar has been finalised for the role. And now, the makers have finally made an official announcement.
Bhumi also confirmed the news by sharing a picture with Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday on Instagram.
Bhumi Pednekar will star opposite Kartik Aaryan
Debutante Ananya Panday who will be seen this year in ‘Student of the Year’ also took to her Instagram and shared the picture.
Confirms producer Bhushan Kumar, “We had a great synergy with BR Studios when we worked on Bhoothnath Returns a few years ago. We are happy to produce Pati Patni aur Woh with them. Juno, Abhay and Mudassar have given an interesting tweak to the story that matches today’s times. Kartik, Bhumi and Ananya are new age actors who are talented and add their spark to the story. We have worked with Kartik in SKTKS and we are glad that we are working again. Bhumi has proven what a fantastic actor she is while Ananya is new but audiences will fall in love with her. The film will so have great music.”

According to reports, Bhumi plays Kartik’s wife in the film whereas Ananya essays the role of the second woman.
Directed by Mudassar Aziz, Pati Patni Aur Woh is all set to go on floors in February.
