Basu’s tussle with the London event organisers and co-ordinator is getting worse by every passing day. Both Gurbani Kaur and Ronita Sharma Rekhi have claimed that the explainations given by the actress in her self defence in her open letter, are largely false and if she doesn’t compensate for their damages worth 25,000 pounds (approximately Rs 20 Lakh)  in a week, then they will  take legal action against her.

In a tell-all interview, the organisers lashed out at the actress accusing her of being “unprofessional”. It didn’t take Bipasha too long before hitting back at the organising committee with an open letter that termed the allegations as false. Her statement read, “Bipasha has always had a spotless reputation for more than 15 years in the industry and has been a thorough professional. Unfortunately, the organisers didn’t honour their commitment as promised in terms of hospitality and logistics, on landing Bipasha had to book her own hotel stay. What happened was completely unprofessional on the organisers part.”

Despite this, the organisers refuse to budge and have now stated that they will take legal action against the star.
The organisers alleged that Bipasha’s sudden exit from the fashion show not only caused them huge monetary loss but also claimed that her open letter ‘defamed’ their reputed organisation.
Gurbani told that 25,000 pounds was their calculated loss due to Bipasha’s actions. “If she fails to do so, I will take legal action against her, ” she said.
They allege that Bipasha forced them to buy a ticket for her husband Karan as well and also to extend their stay in a London five-star hotel to five days. They also allege that Bipasha misbehaved with them and her own manager.
Adding to this, Rekhi stated, “We have suffered not only monetary loss but her open letter defames us and we might even lose our reputation. We went out of our way to give her everything that she desired. Her claims of getting bullied are all rubbish. In fact, it was we who were bullied by a celebrity. She was extremely unprofessional and unethical in her commitment.”
