Talking about his marriage plans, Sukhwinder said “I want to get married now. I am attracted to a few girls but I don’t have a person in front of me. But girls don’t take me seriously as I am a big flirt. I was such a good flirt but us par bhi nazar lag gayi hai. Everyone has the right to have a wish and I don’t know why, but I want to get married to a village girl.”

Sung 6 hit song for SRK

When Sukhwinder got his break in the movie Karma, he only sang only few lines. Then he did a Madhuri Dixit film called Khilaaf, in which he sang the hit song “Aa ja Sanam”. Although, the song went flopped. Later, he sang many hit songs. His 6 songs hit which he sang for SRK which includes Marjani, Darde Disco, Chak De India, Chaiyya Chaiyya, Rab Ne Banadi Jodi, Haule-Haule.

Sukhwinder is a Shiv Bhakt

Sukhwinder is a devotee of Shiva, he wants his beloved Salman Bhai to marry soon. Talking about his Shiv Bhakti, he said “I pray to him in every breath. When you are a Shiv Bhakt, one you become extremely romantic and second you don’t have any hatred towards anyone. Actually I am not his bhakt. I am his chamcha.”

Sukhwinder composed the song ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’ when he was only 13 years old that was sung by Malkit Singh and became a big hit.

Sukhwinder Singh has released a Punjabi album called Munda Southhall Da with T. Singh and quickly became a music arranger, before heading to the south of India to look for work. The combination of Sukhwinder Singh and composer A.R. Rahman has given lot of hit songs. He has also recorded a couple of Tamil songs for Rahman, Thiruvallikkeri Rani from Udhaya and Lucky Lucky from Ratchagan.
