It is possible that the counsel of Salman Khan and other accused files a petition in the court seeking approval for absence on Wednesday.
The actor’s lawyer Hastimal Saraswat said, “If there is a genuine reason for not coming, then there is a petition for absenteeism. How can I say whether they will come or not? The statements of accused will be taken tomorrow.”
During the shooting of the Sooraj Barjatya movie, ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’, Salman Khan allegedly went on a shooting expedition along with actors Saif Ali Khan, Neelam, Sonali Bendre and Tabu, killing two blackbucks in Kankani village.
Following protests by the local Bishnoi community, a case was filed against Salman Khan and the other actors and a local named Dushyant Singh.
