1. Sridevi
The diva of Indian cinema, Sridevi, is no more. The actress passed away due to the accidental drowning in Dubai on February 24, 2018. She was 54. The actress was in Dubai to attend her nephew’s Mohit Marwah’s wedding. The actress was one of the famous actress of Hindi Cinema. She ruled the hearts of millions. Her sudden death was a huge shock for her family and her industry colleagues.
2. Dev Anand
Dev Anand died in his room at The Washington Mayfair Hotel in London at the age of 88 on 3 December 2011 following a cardiac arrest. Anand was reportedly in London for a medical checkup at the time of his death. His body was not brought to India and his funeral service was held at a small chapel in London after which his casket was taken to the Putney Vale Crematorium in southwest London. His ashes were returned to India for immersion burial in the Godavari River.

3. Farooq Sheikh
Farooq Sheikh died of a heart attack on 27 December 2013 in Dubai, where he was on holiday with his family. His funeral prayers, held in Mumbai at Millat Nagar Mosque on 30 December 2013 in the evening, were attended by many personalities, including Javed Akhtar and Shabana Azmi. He was buried in Muslim Qabristan, Four Bungalows, Andheri West. His grave is next to his mother’s grave.
4. Mehmood
Mehmood died on 23 July 2004 in his sleep in the American state of Pennsylvania, where he had travelled to for treatment of heart disease after suffering from poor health over several years. The actor was best known for playing comic roles in Hindi films.
5. Mukesh
Mukesh, was an Indian playback singer. He is considered to be one of the most popular and acclaimed singers of the Hindi film industry. He died of a heart attack on 27 August 1976 in Detroit, Michigan, US, where he had gone to perform in a concert. That morning, he got up early and went to take a shower. He came out panting and complaining of chest pains. He was rushed to a hospital but was pronounced dead. His body was flown to India by Lata Mangeshkar, where a grand funeral ceremony was held in the presence of several actors, with personalities of the Indian film industry and fans paying tribute.
