Bollywood singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya challenges Salman Khan

The Bhai of bollywood industry, or we can say the king of controversies Salman Khan is again in news but this time not due to Blackbuck incident. The actor has been getting death theats from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang and even he had been attacked by the gang members by firing the bullets at his home.

This is not the first controversy the actor has faced. Over the years, many celebrities have criticised Salman for his work and behaviour. Among these controversies is of an Indian Singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya, once who open challenged the actor.

The Singer Challenged Salman Khan

Salman Khan, the Bhai of bollywood has been involved in a lot of controversies from a few years. After the murder of Baba Siddique, reportedly a close associate of Salman, his security was significantly increased due to his stemming feud with Lawrence Bishnoi Gang. Through these years several celebrities have criticised the actors decisions, including Abhijeet Bhattacharya.

Abhijeet Bhattacharya not only known for his amazing voice but also for his controversial statements once questioned and challenged the actors decisions for replacing Arijit Singhs Song with a pakistani artist in his film Sultan and also promoting them.

The Controversial Statement by the singer

The controversy began when rijit and Salman’s fall out happened in 2014 after Salman noticed Arijit slept in the crowd. The singer tried to tease Salman by saying that his and Riteish Deshmukh’s hosting put him to sleep, the comment did not go down well.

Salman was reportedly upset, and Arijit’s songs were removed from several of Salman’s films, including Kick, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Sultan. Arijit publicly apologized to Salman in 2016 on Facebook, but Salman reportedly did not respond. Then, in 2019, Abhijeet Bhattacharya publicly questioned Salman’s decision to work with Pakistani singers.

During an event with India Today, Abhijeet expressed his disappointment, saying, “It’s unfortunate that Salman Khan had the song of an emerging Indian singer dubbed by a Pakistani artist.” He further challenged Salman, saying, “If you have the courage, let me sing a song for your movie and then dub it with a Pakistani singer. Let’s see what happens.”
