Bollywood stars are quite attached with their mother in real life. Some celebrities are very lucky who have their moms with them. But, their are some stars who lost their moms at the starting of their career. Their moms passed away even before the release of the first movie of their star sons. Here are some stars who lost their mothers before starting their career.

1. Jhanvi Kapoor

Actress Sridevi’s untimely death has left the whole world saddened and shocked but what is more heartbreaking is that she couldn’t live to see her daughter Jahnvi Kapoor’s debut film ‘Dhadak’ opposite Ishaan Khatter, which was slated to release this year. Sridevi, who is hailed as Bollywood’s first female superstar, was like any mother who was excited and nervous at the same time for her daughter Janhvi’s debut. It is heartbreaking to even know that ‘Dhadak’ is slated to release exactly after four months and for Janhvi, her most important person in life would not be there with her.

2. Arjun Kapoor

In 2012, Arjun lost his mom just one and half months before the release of his first movie ‘Ishaqzaade’. His mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor was died because of cancer.

3. Sanjay Dutt

Nargis died on 3rd May 1981 due to cancer. The premiere of Sanjay’s first movie was scheduled just after 3 days of his mom’s death.

4Shah Rukh Khan

SRK’s mom Lateef Fatima Khan died before he entered in bollywood. Khan himself has said several times that he wanted his mother to see him as superstar.

5. Sushant Singh Rajput

Sushant made debut in Bollywood with ‘Kai Po Che’ movie in 2013. Since then, he has acted in a number of Bollywood movies such as Shuddh Desi Romance, PK, and Detective Byomkesh Bakshy. This TV actor turned Bollywood star lost his mom at the age of 16.

6Prateik Babbar 

Prateik Babbar’s mother Smita Patel was a very popular actress. In 1986, after Prateik’s birth, Smita died due to child birth complications. Pratik Babbar got the nomination of best supporting actor for his role in Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na(2008) movie.
