Bollywood singer Mika Singh has recently filed a police complaint at Mumbai’s Oshiwara police station reporting a theft of Rs 3 lakh at his residence.
Mika’s manager has filed a complaint on his behalf. It is being said that gold jewellery worth Rs 2 lakh and Rs 1 lakh were stolen from Mika’s residence on Sunday afternoon.
Investigators are on the lookout for one of the singer’s aides who was seen entering and leaving the Enclave building in Oshiwara between 3 pm and 4 pm, when the theft allegedly occurred, in CCTV footage.

The suspect, Delhi native Ankit Vasan, 27, who used to help Mika organise his projects and live shows, had been working with the singer for over a decade. “His manager has informed us that they were unable to trace Ankit’s whereabouts following the theft on Sunday evening,” said a police officer from Oshiwara police to Mumbai Mirror.
Police were informed that Vasan used to reside at Mika’s studio in Andheri and had unrestricted access to Mika’s apartment. “Even the building’s watchmen were familiar with the suspect and so, he was never stopped from entering or leaving the building,” the officer said.
When contacted, Sailesh Pasalwar, senior police inspector, Oshiwara police station, told Mirror, “A case under section 381(theft by clerk or servant) of the IPC has been registered against Ankit. We are trying to trace him.”
