Veteran film and TV actor Reema Lagoo has died of a cardiac arrest. The 59-year-old actress breathed her last this morning at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Touted as Bollywood’s favourite mother Reema Lagoo was currently a part of Star Plus show ‘Naamkaran’.
Reema Lagoo’s son-in-law told news agency PTI, “She was complaining of chest pain so we took her to hospital around 1 am. She passed away due to a heart attack around 3.15 am. She was perfectly fine and had no health issues…so it is really shocking for all us that she is no more with us.”
Sudden death of actress has brought shock not only for the Entertainment industry but for everyone. She was one of the finest actresses of our Indian cinema.
Reema is known for her iconic roles as a mother on the big screen. She was best known for playing the on-screen mother to protagonists in hit films like ‘Maine Pyar Kiya’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun’, ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and ‘Hum Saath-Saath Hain’.
