Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged people to switch off their lights on April 5, 2020 at 9 pm for 9 minutes to mark their fight against COVID-19. Across the nation, it was almost like a blackout at 9 pm yesterday and everyone came out in support as they lit up candles and diyas.
Bollywood celebrities such as Akshay Kumar, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh along with others did their bit too.
Celebrities took to Instagram to share their photos in which the are seen posing with a diya or a candle.
