Rishi Kapoor breathed his last in a Mumbai hospital today. He was 67. The veteran actor was battling with cancer since the last few years.
The actor’s death has left the entire nation in shock. Many of his co-stars, actors, and fans have expressed their sadness and also extended their heartfelt condolences to the grieving family through social media.

In 2018, Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer for the first time, following which the actor was in New York for nearly a year to undergo treatment. He returned to India in September 2019 after recovering.

In February, Kapoor was hospitalized twice due to his health issues. He was first admitted to a hospital in Delhi where he was attending a family function. At the time, Kapoor had said that he was suffering from an “infection”. After his return to Mumbai, he was again admitted to a hospital with viral fever. He was discharged soon after.
The actor is survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir and daughter Riddhima.
