‘Chak De! India’ actress Sagarika Ghatge and cricketer Zaheer Khan get Engaged!

Remember the hot and smart hockey player from the super hit film ‘Chak De India’? Sagarika Ghatge the model cum actress and Fast bowler Zaheer Khan, who is leading Delhi Daredevils in the ongoing Indian Premier League season 10, on Monday announced their engagement.

The cricketer announced the good news on his social networking site. Zaheer posted a picture of the two with the ‘Chak De! India’ actress flaunting a rock and wrote, “Never laugh at your wife’s choices. You are one of them !!! Partners for life. #engaged @sagarikavghatge.”

Sagarika too posted a picture on her Twitter account with a caption “Partners for life !!! #engaged @ImZaheer”

According to reports, Zaheer got Sagarika to fly down to Goa as he had two days off before his next match in the ongoing cricket league. It was during this time that the cricketer popped the question to his ladylove.

Rumours about the two being in a steady relationship did the rounds for quite sometime. Zaheer and Sagarika  had made public appearances on quite a few occasions including Yuvraj’s wedding ceremony with Hazel Keech last December.

Former Indian fast bowler is currently playing for the IPL franchise Delhi Daredevils and are sixth in the points table with just two wins from six games.
