Finally, there is some good news for “The Kapil Sharma Show” fans. Comedian Chandan Prabhakar, who had walked out of ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’, is now all set to return to the show as his original character — a chai wallah.
A little over three months after the huge tiff between Kapil Sharma and Chandan Prabhakar, the two have now made peace.
Chandan shot for the episode recently and comedian Kiku Sharda took to his Twitter account to post a picture of Kapil and Chandan from the shoot.
In the snap, Kapil can be seen welcoming Chandan with open arms. The latter, too, looks elated to be back. Alongside, Kiku wrote: Aksar wahi rishtey lajawaab hote hain, jo zamane se nahi, ehsaaso se bane hote hain @KapilSharmaK9 @haanjichandan welcome back bhai

Prabhakar went live from Sony Entertainment Channel’s Facebook page and confirmed that he will be joining Sharma on his show again after a gap of three months.
During the Facebook conversation, Chandan was asked on why he took so long to reconcile with his childhood friend Kapil Sharma. He responded by giving an example of a wet cloth and said: “Sometimes when a cloth gets wet it takes some time for it to dry.” Chandan said that whatever transpired between him and Kapil Sharma took some time to settle.

Comedian Rajiv Thakur also shared an image of Kapil and Chandan while they were in the middle of their act on stage. Take a look:
Sunil, Chandan and Ali had left Kapil after a mid-air fight in March this year. It was reported that Kapil verbally abused and threw a shoe at Sunil Grover while they were travelling with their team from Australia to India. Sunil did not return to the show after the mid-air fight.
According to a report due to the poor ratings, the makers of the show and Sharma, mutually decided to cut down his fee by a considerable amount. Therefore, Prabhakar’s re-entry could revive the show’s popularity.
A source associated with Kapil’s show filled us in, “Chandan is back on the show for good; Kapil and he have buried the hatchet. A lot has happened in the recent past and we are glad that we have managed to climb up the ratings chart after a brief downfall. Even the negativity associated with the show has started to settle down. Our objective is to make people laugh. We are aware of the new show that will feature Krushna and Ali, and we hope that both the shows do well.”
Kapil Sharma and Chandan Prabhakar first appeared on the show, The Great Indian Laughter Challenge. Kapil Sharma won the show, while Chandan became the first runner up.
