Popular TV actor Anas Rashid best remembered for his role as Sooraj Rathi from the superhit Star Plus show, ‘Diya Aur Baati Hum’ got married to fiancée Heena Iqbal in a traditional Muslim function held in his hometown of Malerkotla in Punjab on September 9.
The wedding picture of the couple started doing the rounds on social media and we must say they are perfect for each other.

It was an arranged match by Anas’ parents. Heena worked in a corporate office in Chandigarh. The lady is 14 years younger to Anas but that did not stop her from falling in love with the “Diya Aur Baati Hum” star.
We have often heard about how marriages are made in heaven and Anas-Heena are one such couple, who are stealing away hearts with their charm.

Anas looked nothing less than a prince charming in his wedding attire and Heena became his perfect princess. The two can be seen exchanging smiles and living each and every moment of their D-Day.
The 38-year-old actor is 14 years older than his bride, who is 24. The wedding took place on September 9.
When asked why he opted for an arranged marriage, Anas replied “I had complete faith on my parents’ choice. Also, I felt that I was ready to take on the responsibilities associated with an arranged marriage.”
Talking to leading daily, Anas said,”I asked Heena if she knew my age. She said I know my age, I am ready to get married to you. I am 24. She asked me if I was ready to marry her? Heena said the age gap does not matter to her. Her sister told me that I look 26.”
