The model turned actress has done small roles in movies with superstars legendary actors Kamal Haasan and Mohan Lal in the ‘Unnaipol Oruvan’, remake of the Hindi movie, ‘A Wednesday’. Poonam Kaur has also been nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Award back in 2008 for her performance in Gopichand alongside Anushka Shetty.
She was born in Hyderabad on 21st of October 1986 and her original name is Deepa. She’s the daughter of Beep Singh and Kharain Kaur.
