In an interview, the 21 year old girl spoke about her picture going viral to Buzzfeed India. She stated that she came to know about it through a friend. Saima said, “I thought she was joking at first but then I started getting calls and messages from everyone. The moment I checked for myself, it felt so surreal.”

She was one of the organisers of the event at college. The girl said, “I didn’t expect to be in the front row because of the insane number of people present. My friend helped me get through the crowd and I was lucky that the heads for the fest were allowed to stand in the front row.”
