Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone is currently busy in the shooting of her upcoming film Chhapaak in Delhi. In the film, the actress will play the role of acid attack survivor.
After a few leaked pictures of the actress from the sets of the film, we recently got our hands on yet another picture of Deepika from the sets of the film.

The first look of the actress from the film have stunned her fans which shows her transformation to look like Laxmi Agarwal, on whose life the film is based.
The film is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, who was attacked at the tender age of 15, by a 32-year-old man, who had one-sided attraction towards her. She now runs an NGO that works for the acid attack survivors and is also a proud owner of a cafe which is managed by these survivors.

Apart from Deepika, Chhapaak also features actor Vikrant Massey in an important role.
The film is jointly being produced by Fox Star Studios, Deepika Padukone’s own KA Entertainment and Meghna Gulzar’s Mriga Films.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film will release on January 10, 2020.
