Shah Rukh Khan starrer Zero is one of the much-awaited films of the year. The film’s trailer has been receiving an amazing response from the audience. But, the film has been facing a legal trouble as a complaint filed against SRK and Anand L Rai for hurting religious sentiments of Sikh community.
The complaint has been filed by General Secretary of Delhi Sikh Gurudwara Management Committee (DSGMC).
In the complaint lodged, Sirsa has mentioned that he has received a number of complaints from the Sikh Sangat. According to the complaint, Sirsa has alleged that in the trailer of the movie, SRK has been shown wearing ‘Gatra Kirpan’ (Article of Sikh Faith) and this has created an outrage among Sikh community worldwide.

He further added that as per the Sikh customs only Amritdhari Sikh person can wear Gatra Kirpan and went on to urge the police to lodge FIR against the film director Aanand L Rai and Shah Rukh Khan and stated that the trailer where SRK is seen wearing ‘Gatra Kirpan’ should be stopped without any further delay.
If the said scenes aren’t removed then the Sikh community will stage protests against the release of the film at theatres.
I have written a letter to actor of @Zero21Dec @iamsrk & director @aanandlrai to withdraw the objectionable scene and poster showing Kirpaan as ordinary dagger
