On Friday, Mumbai court rejects Alok Nath’s wife’s plea against Vinta Nanda. Nath’s wife seeking an injunction order against Vinta Nanda.
The application sought that Ms Nanda be directed to refrain from speaking to the media or making statements against Alok Nath.
Dismissing the order, the court said it can’t pass an injunction order against her at this stage.
Court rejects Alok Nath’s wife’s plea
For the uninitiated, in the wake of #MeeToo, Alok Nath has been accused of rape by Senior TV writer-producer, Vinta Nanda. The veteran writer-producer has accused actor Alok Nath of raping her 19 years ago. She served as the writer and producer of teleserial ‘Tara’ in the 90s, in which Nath played a lead role.

Following the allegations, the Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA) had issued a notice to the veteran actor, seeking his stand on the allegations against him.
Nanda has also filed a written complaint at the Oshiwara police station detailing her allegations and asking for an FIR to be registered against Nath.
