‘Dancing Uncle’ Sanjeev Shrivastava meet Suniel Shetty in Mumbai, see pics

These days, a video of of a middle-aged man dancing at a wedding has been doing the rounds on social media. This super cool uncle dancing to the tune of Govinda’s 1987 hit song ‘main se meena se na saaki se’.

The uncle name is Sanjeev Shrivastava. He is a resident of Vidisha (Madhya Pradesh) and works as an assistant professor of electronics at Bhabha Engineering Research Institute in Bhopal.

Well, now the uncle has found a fan in celebrities like Raveena Tandon, Arjun Kapoor, Divya Dutta and Govinda.

Apparently, Suniel Shetty was so impressed by Sanjeev that he called him to Mumbai for a meeting. And now, the uncle met Suniel Shetty and posted a series of pictures of their meeting on his Twitter account.

He captioned the pic as, “Met @SunielVShetty Urf Mr Anna. was an amazing experience.
Touched by his warm welcome & humble personality#SanjeevShrivastava”

In an interview to IndiaToday.in, Sanjeev said, “I haven’t been able to sleep in the past 3-4 days…My life has changed overnight. My family, especially my children, are yet to come to terms with whatever is happening.”

“People have been taking selfies with me, even at airports, be it in Bhopal or Mumbai. I like the feeling,” he added.

And now, not surprisingly enough, Dancing Uncle is fielding calls for appearances on reality shows, and even movie offers!

Shrivastava is passionate about dancing even though he didn’t receive any formal training.  In fact, he had also won the Madhya Pradesh competition, held in Bhopal during the 80s, for three consecutive years. He had been a regular stage performer till 1998.
