After facing various protests, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Padmaavat’ has been released in cinemas and saw a huge growth in the figures just days after release. Ever since Padmaavat hit the screens Deepika has been receiving love and appreciation from audience across quarters.
And now, to enjoy the success of the film, Deepika enjoys a Rajasthani thali at the Maharaja Bhog Thali restaurant in Juhu on Saturday evening.
Dressed in an ethnic Sabyasachi outfit, the actress looks gorgeous. She paired her outfit with traditional jewellery by Tanishq.
The actress plays the role of the Queen of Chittor, Rani Padmini and has won hearts all over the world.

Deepika who was threatened with beheading over the film was confident that her film’s box office numbers would be ‘earth-shattering.’ Ahead of the film’s release, she told the press, “I’m not someone who gets excited about the box office numbers but this time I am, because I think it will be earth-shattering. I am extremely overwhelmed and emotional right now. I think this film has been through so much. To see that the film is finally releasing and to see the kind of reactions that the film is getting, reactions to my performance, it is extremely overwhelming.”
The film faces several threats from Rajput Sena. The film was accused to have offensive content against Rajput community.
The magnum opus, based on 16th century poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi’s Padmavat, stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji and Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh.
