Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat has been released in cinemas. The film has garnered a great response from the audience and crosses Rs 150 crore at the box office.
Ever since the film has hit the screens Deepika has been receiving love and appreciation from audience across quarters. The actress plays the role of the Queen of Chittor, Rani Padmini and has won hearts all over the world.
Recently, Superstar Amitabh Bachchan had sent a handwritten note to appreciate Deepika Padukone for her performance in the film.

The actor sent a beautiful bouquet in praise of her wonderful performance in Padmaavat. Deepika, who shares a special bond with Big B got ecstatic on receiving note.
She shared it on social media and wrote, “there are awards…there are rewards…& then there is THIS! Thank You Baba… @amitabhbachchan”
The magnum opus which released on January 25 is based on 16th century poet Malik Muhammad Jayasi’s Padmavat. The film stars Deepika Padukone as Rani Padmavati, Ranveer Singh as Alauddin Khilji and Shahid Kapoor as Maharawal Ratan Singh.
