Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone who is currently gearing for her upcoming film Padmavati visited Tirumala on Friday afternoon to seek the blessings of Lord Venkateswara.
The actress was accompanied by filmmaker Farah Khan director of her debut movie Om Shanti Omwhich celebrated 10 years on Thursday.
Deepika was seen dressed in a white and beige embroidered ensemble which she accessorised with heavy golden earrings while Farah and Dinesh opted for purple coloured outfits.
A fan club, operating under the moniker ‘ranbir_deepika_shahid_priyanka,’ has shared a picture of the duo from Tirumala, which appears to be after the darshan.

Padmavati is going through a lot of trouble due to the controversy over the historical facts used in the film. In such a situation, perhaps it may be a reason behind the Deepika’s sudden visit to Tirupati.
Padmavati’ is based on Rani Padmini, the legendary Rajput queen of the kingdom of Chittorgarh, to be played by Deepika. It also features Shahid as her husband, king Rawal Ratan Singh, and probably the most impressive of them all – the invader Alauddin Khilji, essayed with sheer ferocity by Ranveer.
Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the film is slated to release on December 1.
