Dilip Kumar discharged from the hospital, advised complete rest

Legendary actor Dilip Kumar who recently admitted in a hospital following pneumonia has finally gets discharged from the hospital.


Faisal Farooqui, who tweets on behalf of the thespian, informed his fans via social media that Dilip Kumar has been discharged from the hospital and is now resting at home.

“Allah ka shukr hai @TheDilipKumar Saab hospital se discharge hogaye Aur abhi ghar pohoch gaye hain. Doctors have advised complete rest isolation for few days to prevent infection. Thank you all for your prayers. More updates later. -FF” the tweet read.

Recently, there have been news doing the rounds that Dilip Kumar’s health gets deteriorated and he is unable to recognize his wife and people around him.

But, Saira rubbished the reports and said that “All is well, all is fine and nothing of this sort.”

Kumar has acted in more than 65 films over six decades and is known for his iconic roles in movies such as Devdas (1955), Naya Daur (1957), Mughal-e-Azam (1960), Ganga Jamuna (1961), Kranti (1981), and Karma (1986).

Dilip Kumar was last seen in the film ‘Qila’ in 1998. He was honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 1994 and Padma Vibhushan in 2015.
