Story of the movie: The movie narrates the inspiring story of former hockey player Sandeep Singh (Diljeet Dosanjh) who lives in a small town of Shahabad in Haryana. Most of the boys in the town have a dream to be a part of the Indian hockey team. A young Sandeep Singh (Diljit Dosanjh) is also one of them. But, his dedication towards the game die down because of his abusive coach. After this, he takes a backseat in his life from Hockey. Then, a girl Harpreet (Taapsee Pannu) enters in his life. They both fall in love with each other. Harpreet inspires Sandeep once again to play Hockey and then Sandeep make Hockey the goal of life. But an incident on a train makes him partially paralysed below the waist. Well, how real-life Sandeep got his position in Hockey and got world record, for this you have to watch the film.

Star Performance: Dilijit Dosanjh has delivered a brilliant performance. Taapsee Pannu who plays Dosanjh’s love interest has done complete justice to her role. Speaking of Angad, who essays the character of Sandeep’s elder brother; he too is an asset to the drama. Not forgetting the coach, Vijay Raaz, who got Sandeep back in the game, is a cherry on the top.

Music Direction: The film’s music is good. Songs like Soorma Anthem and Ishq Di Baajiyaan are already hit among the audience.

Direction: The film’s direction is good. Cinematography is also awesome. Shaad Ali’s hard work is clearly seen in the film. There were many ups and downs in the film, which caused the story to be slow sometimes, but soon returned to the track.

Watch Or Not: If you wants to know about Sandeep Singh, than do watch the film.
