Dubai Police clears release of Sridevi’s mortal remains, body to now proceed for embalming!

Sridevi‘s untimely death has spread a wave of shock across the world. The actress breathed her on February 24, 2018, in Dubai. It is being said that the actress died due to accidental drowning in a bathtub in a hotel in Dubai. She was 54.

After getting clearance from the forensic department, Dubai Police has transferred the case to Dubai’s Public Prosecution.

Boney along with his brother Sanjay Kapoor are currently doing the paper work after which Sridevi’s body will be flown down to Mumbai via a private jet, likely by noon today.

Now, Khaleej Times has confimed that, Dubai Police has handed over the Indian Consulate and the family members of Boney Kapoor the letters for the release of the mortal remains of the Indian cinema icon Sridevi Boney Kapoor. The body can now proceed for embalming.

Sridevi’s body will now be taken for 90-minute embalming process that will be done at Al Muhaisana.

Arjun Kapoor has also left for Dubai to be with his father at the hotel.

Meanwhile, friends and family members to Anil Kapoor’s bungalow to console the family and Sridevi’s daughters Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor.
