FIR filed against actress Surveen Chawla over Rs 40 lakh fraud case!

Bollywood famous actress Surveen Chawla is breaking the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Recently, a police case has been filed against the actress, her husband and brother for a fraud of Rs 40 lakh.

Satyapal Gupta, a resident of Hoshiyarpur has filed an FIR against the trio, accusing them of committing a fraud of the aforementioned amount.

Gupta claimed that he lent them Rs. 40 lakh for making ‘Nil Battey Sannata’. Satyapal alleged that the trio approached him for funds to invest in the film and promised Rs 50 lakh in return within six months. Therefore, Satyapal gave them fund.

However, after the film released, they started to ignore Satyapal’s calls and he never got his money back.

The film was jointly produced by JAR Pictures and Aanand L Rai’s Colour Yellow Productions.

‘Nil Battey Sannata’ marked the directorial debut of ‘Dangal’ director Nitesh Tiwari’s wife Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari.

Meanwhile, Surveen last appeared in Ekta Kapoor’s web-series ‘Haq Se’ which starred Rajeev Khandelwal opposite her.
