Have you heard the Judwaa 2 Tan Tana Tan song featuring Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline? The recreated version of Salman Khan’s 1997 hit song Tan Tana Tan looked fabulous but also created a trend on the internet?

The earlier song had lyrics that read: “Govinda Hai Hero Usaka Aur Maadhuri Heroine Hai”, the new version of this number is out and looks like the makers decided to ditch Govinda. This line wasn’t there in the new Tan Tana Tan song version. Now, buzz has it that filmmaker David Dhawan decided not to keep Govinda’s name in the new song due to the recent fallout with the veteran actor.

Earlier, Govinda’s scene was deleted from Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Jagga Jasoos. In Judwaa 2, nothing big has happened, but the rivalry between Govinda and the Dhawans is not a secret.

People who are unaware of what happened between them, take a look here.

Govinda had earlier lashed out at Varun while promoting his film Aa Gaya Hero. “Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan both have a body like Salman Khan. But they can’t say it. If they call themselves as Salman Khan, then they won’t get films. They can’t afford to be against Khan. This is how the filmy world works. How can he (Varun) be like me?” Govinda had said.

“To become Govinda, he needs to be innocent, uneducated and a poor village boy. Varun is already a son of a director. In the last six years, he hasn’t done more than two films with his father, whereas I did 17 films with his father (David Dhawan),” he added.

Govinda

To check if Govinda is furious about his cut from the song, Spotboye contacted the actor, who said “Requirement initiates writing. I don’t think they tampered with the song for any other reason.”

Govinda did not deny the fall-out, but quickly added, “Aisa nahin hota hai film industry mein. Here, everybody is out for business. Personal agendas are not carried out,” was Govinda’s rather diplomatic answer. “As I said, writing is dependent on the demand of time,” he concluded.

On a related note. Judwaa 2 stars Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez. Directed by David Dhawan, Judwaa 2 is slated to release on September 29.
