Here’s a big sigh of relief for cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul as the Committee of Administrators (CoA) has lifted the suspension of the two.
The two received a lot of flak after their controversial remarks on Karan Johar’s Koffee With Karan 6.
BCCI has also suspended them from playing the series in Australia.

Well now, after lifting the ban, BCCI issued a statement stating: “The above matter and decision has been taken with the concurrence of the Learned Amicus Curiae, Mr P.S. Narasimha. In view of the above, the suspension orders dated 11.01.2019 is immediately lifted pending appointment and adjudication of the allegations by the BCCI Ombudsman.”

However, an inquiry will take place into the matter, for which an Ombudsman is to be appointed by the Supreme Court. The apex court has listed the matter tentatively for Februar 5.
